Morgan York is a 31-year-old writer, streamer, podcaster, and publishing professional living in New York City. In a former life, she was a child actress who appeared in films including Cheaper by the Dozen and The Pacifier, as well as the television show Hannah Montana. She retired from acting in 2010 and is now pursuing a career as an author of fantasy novels. She is also a co-creator of the narrative horror podcast Halfmoon Chronicles via Bad Address Media, the company she co-founded.

Additionally, Morgan is a production editor at Simon & Schuster in the BFYR and Paula Wiseman imprints, where she manages a list of picture books, middle-grade novels, and young adult novels. She is not an acquiring editor, and does not accept submissions for Simon & Schuster.
